back due to….Oh well

What can I say.........?

I was going to title this: For All My Closest Roaddogz but that’s too 2pac-rish. So here’s to honoring all debts public and private, spoken and unspoken, for a limited period only, I’m back!

For all the dearly treasured comments....

Iwaya says thank you.

Why would you leave? Unless you say something like you are going to concentrate on writing a novel there is no reason good enough. I will miss you, I read yur blog everyday. I love you man! This should be included in Ernest's reason for a guy to tell another guy they love them.

I am not a guy, btw.

aw, did you look cute, or what. What happened along the way? (hey, just kidding there). I insist, please stay. And it's okay to say it's due to public demand.

I just looked at your picture again. No, I don't recognise you, but about that chair... was there one distributor for all of East Africa for that particular style? Does anyone NOT know someone who had a chair just like that one? Just wondering...

Funny you should mention that KC, about the chair. Another friend of mine said almost exactly the same thing, that they used to have chairs like that when she was growing up and whenever she was taken for studio photo shoots, these were the chairs used.
i think they are vintage and i'm searching around Kampala for a worskshop that still stocks them. I have an uneasy feeling they are going to cost me quite a packet when i do finally track them down...

Can't wait to see you posting again. It's the law of supply and demand, really. To be honest, i dont know what that law is cos i sucked at economics but it sounds right. We'll be glad to have you back, O Mad and Crazy One.
Cool chair. I seem to know someone who had one just like it...

Yeah, that chair! 'Sigh' They were made of plastic strips woven together?! Some basket...

We did not have chairs like that at our home. we had real mats! LOL

@Iwaya,
LA have the game away wen he mentioned the "surprised" look. then it just clicked.

Degstar said...

@Iwaya again,
sorry mate, i meant to say LA "gave" the game away ... etc

its all these Chinese cartoon characters in my head!

Iwaya said...

@ chair lovers: we also had mats but those chairs were the bestest! i could only sit still when i was in one of those. this is partly why i want them in my house. and also the golddigger, i mean, gf, demands they have to be there.

@Degstar, LA: I DO NOT have a "surprised" look on my face, ever. What is this "surprised" look everyone's talking about? This is so surprising, honestly, am truly surprised.
